Audiobus 2 – recall multiple presets from multiple apps at once
when I read Audiobus 2 is coming I just thought of my own typical use of the iPad – Synths! no sequencing, no DAW, no fx for audio-in filtering-reasons or – well – for power reasons since I am on the iPad2 which is not made für multiple heavy DSP load on multiple fx and synth but miss a nice reverb on all synths – but be honest – that’s for iPad Air and Mini 2 users atm.
but here’s some reasons why audio bus 2 is interesting to me and possibly to you:
– it saves all preset data of all apps envolved as one „stage ready“ preset – which is THE killer set up solution – of course only works with apps supporting audiobus 2.

tja – ich habe mich für die vielen Audiobus-Apps bisher nicht all zu sehr interessiert. Technisch ganz interessant, aber – mein iPad 2 hat grade mal die Power, die Synth Apps laufen zu lassen. Gelegentlich muss Hall ausgeschaltet werden. Und die Sequencer sind mir nicht livetauglich genug bisher – sie haben zu wenig Steps oder kein Realtime oder sind einfach noch nicht so weit. Aber Audiobus 2 tut etwas für Besitzer von großen iPads mit der Power eines Minimacs von 2011 – also lohnen sich auch interne „externe“ Effete, die von einem anderen Plugi.. ehm.. von einer anderen App kommen. Diese gemeinsamen Presets können zentral an einer Stelle abgespeichert und abgerufen werden! Sehr cool. Interesse geweckt. Audio Bus 2 kommt bald – es läuft zzt mit 3 Test Apps prima,..
aber heute unterstützen fast alle Audio/Synth Apps Audiobus, also werden wohl auch Update zu erwarten sein. Die ersten 3 in der Beta-Phase waren übrigens:
